Our hotline provides crisis intervention, counseling, technical assistance, and referrals for victims of domestic violence.

If you are seeking a domestic violence program in New York State please visit our NYS Domestic Violence Program list  for a county by county directory of domestic violence programs. If you are seeking for a program or information outside of New York State, please visit our National Domestic Violence Coalition  page for a state by state listing of programs that can assist you.

If you are being abused, one of the most important steps you can take is to make a Safety Plan (Pdf) for your home and the workplace. These plans contain simple but critical steps you can take to increase your safety. You may also wish to refer to our Internet Safety page to learn more about possible computer related risks.

You are the expert of your own life and the only one who will know what is right and safe for you to do. Please remember that no one deserves to be abused. You are not alone and there is support and assistance for you!
