Advocate Forum on Batterer Programs and Offender Accountability: Capital Region

Thursday, April 5, 2018
10:00 am3:00 pm
Hilton Albany

Recently there has been a lot of discussion within New York and nationally regarding Batterer Programs and Offender Accountability.

NYSCADV is hosting a series of forums across the state, and would like to invite advocates to join us for important discussions on these topics. As we are committed to being member-informed, we would like to hear your thoughts, concerns, experiences, and recommendations so that NYSCADV can refine our thinking and position on batterer programs and offender accountability.

The 4 regional forums will be held in New York City, Albany, Syracuse and Batavia.

Who Should Attend: These forums are open to staff and volunteers of primary purpose nonprofit domestic violence programs ONLY.

At each of the forums, we will be joined by Phyllis Frank, founder of the New York Model for Batterer Programs, as well as Greg White and Fran Bialy, who are long time NY Model for Batterer Program facilitators.

Please join us at one of the upcoming forums!
