  by the Addiction Technology Transfer Center\, will meet the thirty (30) h
 our Clinical Supervision training requirement for the Advanced Counselor a
 nd Master Counselor status in the OASAS Substance Use Disorder Scopes of P
 ractice\, and recognizes the crucial role of Clinical Supervision in quali
 ty assurance of program services.\n\nIn light of the COVID 19 pandemic\, c
 linical supervision becomes crucial in supporting and gently guiding your 
 staff towards flexibility and resilience. When properly implemented it imp
 roves client care\, develops clinical skills\, and improves the knowledge 
 and professionalism of clinical personnel. It is paramount in imparting an
 d maintaining ethical standards in the addictions profession. \nThe Clinic
 al Supervision Foundations II training consists of 10 hours of interactive
  Zoom training sessions and 6 hours of multi-media homework assignments. H
 omework will be submitted to the trainer prior to each of the live Zoom se
 ssions\, 2-4.\n\nThere is a deep need for all of us to strengthen our unde
 rstanding of trauma\, toxic stress and the behaviors that they see in ours
 elves and each other. Participants will be asked to explore and contemplat
 e information about toxic stress/trauma\, how people respond and most impo
 rtantly what that means for the conversation that they have with their sup
 ervisees. Self-care will be considered throughout the training to build su
 pervisory resiliency and additional skills to support staff.  \n\nParticip
 ants will complete assigned worksheets which will be followed by a full di
 scussion during the live sessions. In addition\, the trainer will speak in
 dividually with the learners (separate from the full session) to process t
 heir thoughts/beliefs/values\, etc. The focus of the training is to build 
 a safe\, collaborative space where personal and professional growth is pos
 sible.\n
