 t West End Collegiate Church on the Upper West Side and continuing our new
  tradition of virtual celebration. We offer a special welcome from the co-
 sponsors of tonight’s event\, the NYS Office of the Attorney General\, the
  District Attorney’s Offices of Manhattan and the Bronx\, and the New York
  State Downstate Coalition for Crime Victims which represents NYC’s five b
 oroughs along with Westchester\, Nassau\, Suffolk\, and Rockland Counties.
  This Vigil honors the memory of those who were lost to acts of violence\,
  and to lift up the voices and experiences of those who have survived viol
 ence\, along with their families and communities. The Vigil also recognize
 s those who support survivors through community and legislative advocacy a
 nd activism\, healing\, and prevention. We hope to provide you this evenin
 g with an experience that is inspiring and spiritually uplifting\, and tha
 t we leave this space feeling more connected\, empowered\, and hopeful.
