 into adulthood as they navigate a life deeply impacted by trauma experienc
 ed in childhood. Advocacy programs were created to help survivors of sexua
 l violence heal from trauma but how do we help when the trauma was so long
  ago?\n\nJoin NYSCASA and the Resource Sharing Project for an interactive 
 conversation about the experiences of adult survivors of child sexual abus
 e. Topics we will be addressing include : What are ways that survivors of 
 child sexual abuse cope in adulthood? How can a survivor’s relationship to
  their body be impacted by child sexual abuse? How can child sexual abuse 
 impact relationship building? Please join us for an interactive session to
  share and learn more.\n\nThis session will be conducted and spoken in Eng
 lish. Please indicate in the registration form if you have specific access
  needs\, so that we can accommodate. These requests are due by May 20\, 20
 22.\n\nAbout the Guest Speakers\n\nLeah Green is originally from Eastern I
 owa and earned a bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies and Studio Art from 
 Cornell College. She has been involved in the anti-violence movement since
  2010 working for several centers across Iowa as an advocate and preventio
 n educator. At the Resource Sharing Project\, she provides training and te
 chnical assistance to state coalitions and rural dual-service programs acr
 oss the country on issues related to creating sustainable sexual assault s
 ervices. \n\nCat Fribley directs the Resource Sharing Project (RSP) for th
 e Iowa Coalition Against Sexual Assault. Through this project she provides
  capacity building training and technical assistance to state and territor
 ial sexual assault coalitions\, SASP administrators\, OVW grantees\, and o
 thers\, as well as coordinating the national activities of the project. Sh
 e has worked to end sexual and domestic violence for 25+ years at national
 \, state\, and local advocacy organizations. Cat trains on a broad range o
 f sexual assault issues with special interest areas including survivors gi
 ving birth\, healing sexuality\, adult survivors of child sexual abuse\, a
 nd queer issues. \n\n
