 , Stuart Kaufman\, Esq. conducted the first technical assistance webinar f
 or the members of the NY Crime Victims Legal Network where he educated us 
 about Evictions During the Pandemic. We are delighted to have him back to 
 provide an update on evictions and the remaining eviction protections afte
 r the end of the moratorium.\n\nThis webinar is a review of housing law wi
 th a focus on the remaining eviction protections in place at this point in
  the pandemic. It includes a review of:\n\n(a) eviction matters\, with a h
 ighlight on the different types of evictions and stages of the eviction pr
 oceedings\;\n(b) the most impactful changes from the Housing Stability and
  Tenant Protection Act (HSTPA)\, which passed in June of 2019\;\n(c) the E
 mergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP)\, the primary remaining eviction
  protection in place at this time\; and\n(d) domestic violence and other h
 ousing protections.\n\nParticipants are encouraged to submit questions dur
 ing the registration process.\n\nPresenter:\nStuart Kaufman\, Senior Attor
 ney\, Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York\, Inc.\n\nEmpire Justice 
 Center has been certified by the New York State Continuing Legal Education
  Board as an Accredited Provider of continuing legal education in the Stat
 e of New York. This program has been approved for 1.5 CLE towards Professi
 onal Practice in accordance with the requirements of the Continued Educati
 on Board. This course is appropriate for both new and experienced attorney
 s.\n\nIf you are seeking CLE and are working outside of the not-for-profit
  sector\, there is a $25 fee per credit for receiving CLE. Checks should b
 e made out to Empire Justice Center and mailed to the attention of Michell
