 llstate Moving Ahead Curriculum” for financial empowerment\, created by th
 e Allstate Foundation and NNEDV.\n\n \n\nEconomic abuse is a prevalent for
 m of domestic violence. Even before the current public health crisis\, lac
 k of financial independence prevented 94-99% of survivors from being able 
 to leave their abuser (NRCDV). In the short-term\, economic abuse can hind
 er a survivors’ ability to plan for and achieve safety away from the abuse
 r. In the long-term\, economic abuse can carry devastating consequences\, 
 including ruined credit\, employment issues\, homelessness\, and legal iss
 ues\, which can adversely affect a survivors’ ability to achieve financial
  stability and independence.    \n\nAttendees participating in this webina
 r series will: \n\nHave an increased ability to apply trauma-informed\, su
 rvivor-centered services to survivors of economic abuse\; \nGain valuable 
 tools necessary to assist survivors in financial safety planning and econo
 mic empowerment practices\; and \nBe introduced to the Moving Ahead curric
 ulum and its modules.    \n \n\nWho Should Register: \n\nRegistration is o
 pen to domestic violence advocates of private\, nonprofit\, nongovernmenta
 l organizations and programs that have a primary purpose of providing shel
 ter and supportive services to adult and youth victims of family violence\
 , domestic violence\, or dating violence\, and their dependents. This incl
 udes programs that are licensed by the NYS Office for Children and Family 
 Services or have local NY Department of Social Services contracts to provi
 de domestic violence services\, either residential or nonresidential. \n\n
  \n\nSchedule:\n\nBelow is the schedule and topics to be covered in each s
 ession.  All sessions will meet on Thursdays from 10AM-12PM EST:   \n\n2/2
