Hiring Manager – Christine Rodriguez

Emergency Services Case Manager – 2 Positions - Full-Time (40 hours)

Responsibilities: answer the 24-hour hotline and meets with walk-ins to provide crisis intervention, supportive listening, information and referral; develops safety plans with clients and conducts eligibility assessment for all Domestic Violence services. Conducts shelter intake when appropriate. Assists victims with securing alternate emergency housing (out-of-county DV shelter, temporary motel lodging, family and friends, etc.) including transportation and food, when shelter option is not available. Follows up with client needs.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human service major preferred; Associate’s degree or high school diploma/GED may be acceptable with experience. Minimum of one year of human services experience; prior domestic violence experience preferred; prior case management experience preferred. Must have a clean, valid NYS Driver License.

Case Manager – Full-Time (40 hours)

Mon. – Fri., 9am - 5:30pm

Responsibilities: include but not limited to ensuring that each resident receives quality, comprehensive case management services in accordance with program objectives and regulatory requirements. Core duties include case management, accompaniment and liaison services, information and referral, conduct intakes, transport residents and maintain appropriate records and statistics.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human services major or equivalent experience required; minimum of two years human services experience and one year case management experience; experience working with substance abuse and mental health population preferred; residential experience preferred. Must have a clean, valid NYS driver license.

Kitchen Assistant - Full-Time (40 hours)

Thurs.-Mon. 10am-6:30pm

Responsibilities: Assist with kitchen activities, including food pick-up and delivery to program sites; maintaining a clean and safe work environment; cooking; and shopping.

Qualifications: High school diploma, one year work experience. Knowledge of meal preparation, safety and sanitation procedures. Food preparation, kitchen skills. Ability to work in a confidential, institutional setting. Must have a clean, Must have a clean valid NYS driver license and available car.

Residential Counselor – 3 Positions

Evening - Full-Time (40 hours) – Mon. – Fri. 3pm-11:30pm


Evening – Full-time (40 hours) – Mon. – Fri. 2:30pm-11pm


Evening - Part-time (16 hours) –Sat.-Sun. 1:30pm – 12am

Responsibilities: Shelter support duties, providing crisis intervention and supportive listening to residents; overseeing group and recreational activities, answering the 24 hour crisis line; and maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Qualifications: High school diploma. Associates degree in related field preferred. Prior Human Services or equivalent experience, residential services experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for experience. Skills and Abilities: Must be compassionate, organized, work independently and sensitive to domestic violence issues. Must have a clean, valid NYS driver license.
