Online Training Opportunity Improving Care Responses for LGBTQ+ Survivors of Elder Abuse by Understanding Historical Context
Survivors of elder abuse are often reluctant to come forward or seek assistance from loved ones or professionals. This webinar will explore some of the historical events older survivors of elder abuse have lived through to help shine a light on some of the additional challenges they may face. Attendees will get a better understanding of the lens through which many survivors may view service providers and care options and will develop strategies to prevent further abuse from occurring.
