Share Your Prevention Work at the 2026 Primary Prevention Summit
The New York State Coalition Against Domestic Violence is accepting proposals for the 2026 Primary Prevention Summit, taking place November 16–17 in Schenectady.The Summit will bring together domestic violence and sexual violence prevention educators, advocates, community leaders, youth-serving professionals, school partners, coaches, public health practitioners, government representatives, and allied professionals working to prevent domestic and sexual violence before it begins.
NYSCADV welcomes proposals that highlight promising practices, emerging strategies, cross-sector partnerships, and community-based approaches that promote healthy relationships, shift harmful social norms, strengthen protective factors, and advance equity-centered prevention.

Budget Advocacy Day
NYSCADV would like to invite you to Albany for its 2027 Budget Advocacy Day on Wednesday, February 24, 2027. During the event, we will advocate for budget initiatives that ensure the continuity and sustainability of New York’s domestic violence services. As the state faces a budget deficit, it’s more important than ever that the voices of domestic violence advocates are represented and heard.
